Is Searchly really free?
Yes — completely free, with no subscription and nothing to pay later. There's no account to create and no upsell.
Is it a limited or 'dumbed-down' browser?
No. Searchly is built on the same Chromium engine as Microsoft Edge, so every website works exactly as it should. We've simply turned down the clutter and the danger and added a family safety net. Simplify, don't stupidify.
Does my family member need to install anything?
No. The person helping only needs their phone. They receive the "Ask my family" messages by Telegram or email and tap Safe or Not safe. Only the computer being protected runs Searchly.
Can my family see my passwords?
Never. Passwords are encrypted on the computer and are not displayed to anyone — not even to you. When a bank login needs approval, your family approves the action; they never see the password itself.
What if no family member is set up?
You can use a private family PIN instead. Flagged bank logins and the locked safety settings are unlocked with the PIN that only you know.
Will it work with my bank and email?
Yes. Every website works normally, including online banking, email, shopping and video calls. Genuine bank and government sites even get a green verified badge.
Is my browsing private?
